[ATTN] Urgent maintenance on compute-node3.dailyrazor.com

This post is dedicated to inform you that we are going to perform an urgent maintenance on our hardware node - compute-node3.dailyrazor.com. During maintenance, hardware node will be rebooted to apply updates and close the Meltdown vulnerability.

Date: Tuesday, January 10th

Maintenance Time Frame: 01:00 - 02:00 am EST

Affected servers: All VPS

Approximate Downtime:  up to 15 minutes

Type of Event: Urgent Maintenance

UPDATE  3:00 am EST 

We would like to inform you that all Windows servers are running in proper state except of xwdz7.dailyrazor.com. It is still booting up.

We will post an update once it starts to work properly.

UPDATE 14:00 PM EST

Unfortunately, server 'xwdz7' has failed to install Windows updates correctly and now we are continue working on restoring services. Currently we will try to roll server back to condition before implement of updates using server backups from Jan 7th or 8th.

There is no way to get exact ETA how long restore procedure may continue, but we hope to return the server back within nearlest hours. We will post updates about this situation on portal once get any news about server status.  Please accept our sincere apologizes for the inconvenience caused

Currently, all services are up and running in a normal state.

[ATTN] DDoS attack on the server xwdz14.dailyrazor.com

Dear Valued Customers,

We are notifying you that we have encountered unexpected DDoS attack on our server xwdz14.dailyrazor.com. Below you may find more details about this issue:

Affected server:  xwdz14.dailyrazor.com 
Start Time: JAN 3 10:00 PM
Approximate ETA: -

Since this attack is making from many different IPs we cannot block their networks, so in order to stop this issue we had to block shared IP '162.253.124.254' on port '80'. Unfortunately due to this reason your websites, that are using shared IP '162.253.124.254', will be inaccessible until the attack isn't stopped. However, rest of the websites and subdomains, that are assigned to dedicated IPs, will be working in a proper state.

From our side, we will monitor the status of attack and when it will be finished, we will let you know by posting update below of this post.

We appreciated your understanding and patience in regards to this issue.

UPDATE 

Unfortunately, attack is too heavy, so our entire network is affected. This means that websites even on dedicated IPs or on our other servers are also affected.

Sorry for caused inconveniences.

 

UPDATE JAN 3 05:00 AM EST:

Attack is finished for now and we have unblocked shared IP '162.253.124.254'. Sorry for caused downtime.
