[ATTN] Unexpected maintenance on HW node

Dear Valued Customers,


This post dedicated to inform you about unexpected maintenance on one of our HW node. Maintenance is related to unexpected load on HW node due to which it has been rebooted.


Event details:
Date: Wednesday, February 14th
Start Time: 02:40 PM EST
Affected servers: all VPS and shared servers
Type of Event: Unplanned Event

UPDATE: February 14th 3:30 PM EST:

After reboot almost all servers are up. You may notice that some of VPS are still not running but you shouldn't worry about this, as all servers are starting in their order. So during next hour all VPSs will be up.

Problem left only for following servers:

xjdz2.dailyrazor.com
xjdz3.dailyrazor.com

They were in read-only state, so we had to reboot them again. Currently for these server FSCHK is running and approximately it will take 3-4 hours. Please wait for our next updates.

UPDATE: February 14th 06:30 PM EST:

We are glad to notify you that maintenance was successfully completed. Currently, servers up and running in the proper state.

This post is to inform you that we are going to continue the maintenance on 'xwdz7' server in order to complete optimization of work of disk subsystem there. Unfortunately, the server will be unavailable during this maintenance.

Approximate Downtime: 4 - 5 hours

UPDATE AS OF 01.30.18 00:00 PM EST

Unfortunately, server xwdz7.dailyrazor.com has not booted up properly yet, so due to this sites hosted on this server might be down temporarily. During our investigation we have found that there was a problem with drivers work. We have already fixed issue with them and now we are going to reboot server one more time, in order to apply made changes and re-configure system. Approximately this procedure may take another 4-5 hours and unfortunately server will be also in accessible during this time.

We will inform you once maintenance will be completed or at least when server will be up, so please wait for our next update.

Please accept our apologies for this incident and thank you for your understanding and patience.

UPDATE AS OF 01.30.18 02:30 PM EST

Server 'xwdz7.dailyrazor.com' has been booted up. Unfortunately ColdFusion and MySQL services still can't start there. We are continue working on solving this issue and provide our next update once CF service will be restored.
